Developing a 3d fluid surface from bendable 2d sheet material , paper in this case . The assembly logic is defined by tongue -groove joints . The smoothness  of the built surface is directly dependent on two parameters

• The density of joints along the curve

• The  ability to bend exhibited by the 2d sheet material
